How soon will I start seeing results from using VIA mask products?
Many people see immediate results the first time they use the products. With powerful concentrations and combinations of result-driven ingredients in our products, almost everyone says their skin feels different right away. Our products leave the skin feeling clean, smooth, hydrated, and reflect a new level of health that's visibly noticeable. If the skin has more advanced long-term needs, such as treatment of skin aging or acne, it may take several weeks or more for visible results; however, skin health will continue to improve with consistent use of targeted products and nutrients.
How are face masks different than other products for refining my skin pores?
Face masks can be powerful at helping you to get clearer skin and more refined pores. Key ingredients such as bentonite and kaolin clays, as well as alpha-hydroxy and beta-hydroxy acids, deep cleanse the pores and draw out impurities and the oily substances that can clog them. Also, steaming your face beforehand will open up your pores and soften the debris within your pores, making it easier for the dirt and oil to be extracted from your skin. With our Exfoliating & Clarifying UltraMUD and Anti-Aging Peptide MegaMud treatments, you can visibly see impurities being extracted from your pores and feel the clay tightening your skin.
What should I apply to my skin after a clay mask or facial peel treatment to soothe and/or re-hydrate my skin but without clogging my pores?
A gel mask is an ideal step for soothing and hydrating or super-moisturizing where you want to add water to the skin, but not add any oil. Our Sea Whip Cucumber Detox Soothing Gel can provide an intense treatment when applied after a clay mask or facial peel treatment to help re-hydrate, nourish and soothe the skin. It can also be left on as an overnight mask to absorb the benefits of powerful ingredients all night long when skin is rested and regeneration is at its peak. Skin will be left feeling soft, smooth, and rejuvenated. Also, your instinct may be to lather on the moisturizer, but try not to do that. On fresh and clean skin, too much moisturizer may end up suffocating your pores, so just put on your standard amount when you apply a moisturizer.
I have sensitive skin. Do you have any products that are suited for me?
We have avoided potentially irritating or harmful ingredients such as preservatives. If there is a particular ingredient you are allergic to, please read through the ingredient list carefully for each product. Also, we recommend that you try out the mask by doing a small patch test before applying it to your entire face. This way, you know how your skin is going to react to the mask. You may also find that our Sea Whip Cucumber Detox Soothing Gel is right for you. It’s a refreshing moisturizing gel, formulated to help soothe redness and dryness in sensitive and irritated skin. Natural extracts of aloe, cucumber, chamomile, and oatmeal provide ultimate soothing, healing, anti-inflammatory and moisturizing benefits to the skin.
I have a combination of oily and dry skin areas. Should I still use a clay mask on my entire face?
Your problem area may not be your entire face or neck, but rather just a certain spot. Spot treatments may allow you to treat certain areas more effectively. If you have an oily T-Zone but dryness around your mouth, you may not want to apply a clay mask to your entire face every time. You may be better off applying the mask more frequently to just your problem T-Zone so you don’t over dry or irritate other areas. Also, you don’t have to wait for it to completely dry before washing it off. If you wait too long for the mask to fully dry, it may become flaky and the mask can actually start to draw unnecessary moisture from your skin which can cause irritation.
